Special Effects Makeup

It all began with some killer Halloween parties, some leftover latex and my curiosity as to what I could turn myself in to in the comfort of my own room while I recovered from surgeries. Then I bought a camera and launched myself into photography as a way to showcase my rather terrifying creations.

Since then I went on to work in theatre, film, television and even began my own 'Freakshow'- creating generally horrific creatures and gore with the magic of SFX. Freakshow went on to grow from a small event showcasing my "monsters" as an exhibition to becoming a walk-through Haunt and seated dinner and show events complete with makeup addled contortionists and burlesque performers.

I even went on to teach my self-taught art to dozens of students over several years at the Demi Internation Diploma of Film and Television Makeup. 

It has been a blood-soaked, incredible journey with a million creatives.
